Simple Roast Potatoes Recipe

I always have soft spots for potatoes, what about you? I just couldn’t resist any kind of potatoes be it in the form of chips, wedges, mash, rosti, hash brown and etc etc. I have since reduced my intakes of potatoes to cut down the amount of carbohydrates. However, I still indulge it once in a while.

Roast potatoes are always in our menu whenever we make our roast meals at home. In my opinion, a roast meal isn’t complete without some roast potatoes on the side. I always like my roast potatoes to be crunchy on the outer and moist inside. And we enjoyed roasting potatoes by using the agria variety which has a floury and fluffy inner.

Homemade roast dinner, consists of roast pork, portebello mushrooms, roast potatoes and blanched vegetables

Making roast potatoes at home is easy and we always experiment it with many different flavours. The simplest of all is to just season it with some salt, pepper and olive oil. This time, my hubby roast the potatoes with some extra spices to further enhanced it’s flavour and I love it. I thought I better document it down so that we can recreate it again some other time.
